The Trego Path - Estate Planning
Learn About Our Process

Estate planning should not leave you feeling confused or overwhelmed. The Trego Path is a guided process designed to help you understand your options, make thoughtful decisions, and create a plan that protects what matters most.

Begin With a Conversation

The process begins when you call, email, or complete our online contact form to schedule a complimentary 30-minute consultation.

Before we meet, you’ll receive a confidential estate planning questionnaire. Your answers will help us understand your family, property, finances, concerns, and goals.

You do not need to have everything perfectly organized or know every answer. Complete what you can, and we’ll help you work through the rest.

Understand Your Options

During your consultation, we’ll discuss where you are now, what matters most to you, and what you want your estate plan to accomplish.

You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions, understand the planning options available to you, and decide whether Trego Law is the right fit.

Choose the Right Plan

If you decide to move forward, you’ll select the flat-fee estate planning package that best fits your needs.

You’ll know what your package includes and what it will cost before any work begins. No surprise hourly bills. No uncertainty about what comes next.

Create Your Estate Plan

Together, we’ll turn your priorities into a thoughtful legal plan.

We’ll address who should manage your affairs, who should receive your property, how the people you love should be protected, and who should make financial or health care decisions for you if you cannot make them yourself.

Every option will be explained in plain language so you can make informed decisions with confidence.

Review and Sign

Once your documents are prepared, you’ll have an opportunity to review them and ask questions.

At your signing appointment, we’ll guide you through your documents and ensure that everything is properly signed, witnessed, and notarized.

Depending on the plan you select, your documents may include a will, trust, financial power of attorney, advance directive for health care, HIPAA authorization, certification of trust, or deed.

Put Your Plan Into Action

An estate plan should work in real life—not simply sit in a folder.

If your plan includes a trust, we’ll provide guidance for transferring the appropriate assets into it. You’ll also receive an organized copy of your completed documents for safekeeping.

As your family, finances, and goals evolve, Trego Law will be here to help ensure that your plan continues to reflect the life you have built.

Clarity for where you are.

Strategy for what matters.

Resolution for what comes next.
